Night Moves Dance Club held its 20 Year Reunion dance Friday, Oct. 21 at Robert Cherry Civic Center.A big thank you goes to all of the club members who helped decorate for the event and to those members who stayed and helped clean up after the dance.

There was a very good attendance by both current and former Night Moves Dance Club members and the club also thanks everyone who showed up at the reunion dance and made it such a success!  There was plenty of pizza, chips, desserts and cake!  And, of course there was plenty of dancing too!  Night Moves had several businesses that donated door prizes for our big night and to all of those businesses, we also say thank you.  Again, a big thank you to all members who helped with the reunion dance!

The club's name comes from the 1976 hit songby Bob Seger, Night Moves,and our signature dance is One Step Forward

Night Moves Dance Club holds dance class EVERY THURSDAY evening at the American Legion Hall, 425 Legion Dr., in Paducah, Ky.Beginners class starts at 6 p.m.; Intermediate and couples class starts at 7 p.m.Visitors and beginning line dancers are encouraged and welcome to stay for the whole night of dance class!  Admission is $4 for the entire evening.  That includes free coffee, tea and water.  And, often times many club members will bring goodies to snack on.The public is invited to come, learn how to dance and above all, have some fun! 

This year our classes have grown tremendously! 

We are getting close to being crowded some nights,

which is a good thing!

The last Thursday of every month is our "Special Night". On those nights  everyone brings food. We also dress in some kind of special attire that is decided upon at our monthly meeting the first of each month.

To be a "NIGHT MOVER" you must possess

the following qualifications:

The ability to laugh at yourself and with others - ESPECIALLY when everyone else is going to the left and you're standing there with a big smile on your face, heading right!

The ability to count 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 - especially 5,6,7,8.

You must always have patience when the instructor says "Now let's do this ONE MORE TIME" - after the 20th time!

And, even though we are a country/western dance club, you must be able to shake your "BOOTIE" to all kinds of music.
